Hello Eugene and Springfield! I recently moved from Iowa to Eugene, where my daughter and family live. I am loving it here and looking forward to growing my business in this magical place.
I have a studio space on W 10th Ave, kitty corner to the Eugene Public Library and am open by appointment only, evenings and weekends, at this time. I am open to mobile massage as well during daytime hours.
BASICS:
LGBTQ+ welcoming.
I don’t talk unless you want to talk, but I do my best work when it’s quiet and I can focus. I do ask for input at times.
I specialize in pelvic floor dysfunction, ribs, and shoulder complexes.
PRICES:
Two appts per month are reserved for sliding scale for those in need without funds. Just ask.
If at all possible, please pay in green cash. This makes my sliding scale offerings possible.
First time appt requires a 90 min session.

STYLE:
I work primarily on a mat on the floor with the client fully clothed (please wear stretchy or loose clothing like gym wear or leggings/t-shirt) similar to Thai massage, with compressions and sometimes stretching. I find this style to be the most effective in alleviating pain and stiffness, and improving range of motion. If the following descriptions make your eyes cross, see pics at the bottom of the Services page.
I can deliver far more pressure on the mat than on a massage table. I use my feet under your body weight to get deeply into glutes or around shoulder blades while mobilizing your limbs with leverage for a dynamic physical experience that affects a larger area than just the one I’m pressing on.
I might lay my knee into your quads for deep sustained pressure or compress your bicep with my foot while standing. I may have you lay on your side, bolstered with pillows, and ‘smash’ your traps (gently of course!) with my foot (that move always gets a thumbs up.) Still, most find it very relaxing work and I accommodate the pressure you like most.
I use Myofascial Release (MFR), Spontaneous Muscle Release Technique (SMRT), stretching, Sports Massage, Orthopedics, sometimes Gua Sha (scraping) and Cupping. Prices are all inclusive and I use what I think will help the most.
At the start of a session I want to know what’s most important to you, physically and otherwise. I will partner with you and focus on your goals. After we chat, I’ll give you the full 60 or 90 minute (or three hour!) massage you booked. So you might want to come 5-10 minutes before your appointment time to fill me in so you get the most time possible on the mat.

WHY I DO WHAT I DO
This culture is stressful! We hold a lot of tension in our bodies that can cause pain and disfunction. Three painful conditions I thought were just part of getting old were resolved when I went to massage school! That’s when I began to appreciate the power of massage.
Sometimes we hold our tension in the pelvis. Add to that abdominal or genital surgical scars or history of giving birth, getting episiotomies or C-sections. Scar tissue can cause fascial restrictions that can cause pain, numbness, restrict digestion and elimination, limit reproduction, and affect posture. I have a microcurrent point stimulation system that is highly effective at dissolving scar tissue that is painless. Sometimes abdominal scar tissue causes low back pain and when melt the scar, we relive the back ache.
High tension internal muscles along with gravity can push organs out of the body via the vagina causing prolapse. One in three vagina havers have fecal or urinary incontinence, or prolapse, according to a 2022 study of 25k women at the U of Iowa. That is heart breaking! Sometimes it doesn’t require internal bodywork. Sometimes belly work or external pelvic work can resolve the issue.
Penis havers can get adhesions and restrictions as well. In fact, even erectile disfunction may be reversed when fascial compression from fuller bellies and tight belts is the culprit. Most massage therapists avoid the pelvis and pelvic floor area but it can be key in having a better quality of life. And I want to help people with this area of our bodies that often carries shame and trauma. I would be honored if you allowed me to assist you in your healing journey.
And all this work is not done like a clinical doctor’s office visit. We will have a conversation before the session to see if we are a good match with your needs and my skills, make sure we both feel comfortable and safe, have a non clinical environment, take all the time necessary to proceed respectfully and at a pace that works for you, and understand that consent can be revoked at any time. I will never press you to proceed and will check in often for consent. We hold a lot of emotion in our pelvis and have histories there. And at the same time it is a source of power.
I will take this moment to make it very clear that I only do therapeutic massage and do not engage in, nor tolerate, any sexual jokes or actions. If this occurs, the session will end and you will be responsible for the cost of the full session.
